Agreement to Terms
By booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions. The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring all travelers included in the reservation comply with these terms.
Passports and Visas
All travelers must hold a valid passport for international travel, typically requiring at least six months of validity from the return date. Some destinations may require machine-readable passports. We assume travelers possess the necessary documents unless informed otherwise. It is your responsibility to verify immigration, visa, and re-entry requirements. We do not provide immigration advice and cannot guarantee the accuracy of external visa information. For travel to the U.S., New Zealand passport holders must apply for an ESTA or a visa. Visit

Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected situations. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade advises obtaining travel insurance for international travel. We are an authorized representative of Kiwi Holiday Insurance and may receive benefits from insurance purchases. Review the Financial Services Guide and Product Disclosure Statement before purchasing to ensure suitability.
Travel Advice and Health
Visit www.safetravel.govt.nz for the latest travel advisories and register your travel details for emergency support. It is your responsibility to comply with any health-related requirements, including vaccinations.
Pricing Policy
Prices are subject to availability and may change without notice. Pricing is only confirmed once full payment has been made. Various external factors such as currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes, and airline adjustments may impact pricing. Please check with us for updates.
Changes and Cancellations
● Paradise Getaways Change and Cancellation Fees: Fees apply to modifications or cancellations, in addition to supplier-imposed penalties.
● Supplier Change and Cancellation Fees: Suppliers may charge up to 100% of the booking cost for changes or cancellations. Refunds are processed only once funds are received from the supplier.
Cruise Pricing
Cruise fares are subject to specific conditions and restrictions. Prices include applicable discounts but may change due to currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, or provider adjustments.
Payment Policies
● Credit Cards: A surcharge applies for Visa and MasterCard transactions, with additional fees for Q Card and GEM card payments. These processing fees are non-refundable.
● Cheques: We do not accept cheques.
Taxes and Fees
Certain countries impose mandatory taxes payable locally at airports. Airline taxes are confirmed at the time of ticket issuance.
Role as an Agent
Paradise Getaways acts as an intermediary for travel providers, including airlines, accommodations, and tour operators. We arrange bookings on your behalf, but service delivery remains the responsibility of the provider. Your legal rights are with the service provider, and we are not liable for any service-related issues.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Paradise Getaways is not responsible for any loss, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused by third-party providers, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our control. Our liability is limited under applicable international agreements, such as the
Montreal Convention for air travel.
Special Requests
Requests for special meals, seating preferences, and accessibility accommodations must be discussed with our team. While we will relay requests, fulfillment is at the discretion of the provider.
Frequent Flyer Programs
Provide your frequent flyer details at the time of booking. We cannot guarantee points will be credited, and it is your responsibility to retain travel documentation for verification.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by New Zealand law, and any disputes will be resolved in New Zealand courts.
Travel Documents
Travel documents, including airline tickets and accommodation vouchers, may have restrictions such as being non-refundable or non-transferable. Verify all details upon receipt and ensure ticket names match your passport. Documents should be collected at least two weeks before departure.
Schedule Changes
We recommend checking flight schedules directly with airlines 24 hours before departure.
Privacy Policy
By booking with us, you agree to our Privacy Policy regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information, which may include sharing details with overseas travel providers.
Unaccompanied Minors
Airlines have specific policies regarding children traveling alone:
● Children aged 5–11 must be booked as Unaccompanied Minors.
● Children aged 12–15 may travel alone but can be booked as Unaccompanied Minors upon request.
● Parents or guardians must complete required documentation, and additional fees may apply.
Important Information
● Travel agents do not own airlines or airports and have no control over operational decisions.
● Date change quotes are valid for three hours.
● Additional fees apply for after-hours processing of refunds or changes.
● Credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
● Refunds, if approved by the airline, may take up to eight weeks.
● Travel restrictions and airline policies may change.
● Passengers are responsible for visas, travel documents, and entry requirements.
● Most airline tickets are non-refundable.
● Check-in times: At least 4 hours before international flights.
● Confirm bookings with the airline 72 hours before departure.
● Paradise Getaways is not responsible for missed connections, lost baggage, or flight disruptions.
● Online check-in availability depends on the airline.
● Carry a printed e-ticket throughout your journey.
● Name changes on issued tickets are not allowed.
● Travel insurance is highly recommended.
● Paradise Getaways reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
